A violinist, a teacher, and a believer in what music can bring to people.
Based in the Twin Cities, Angelina Cunningham brings a personal approach to both teaching and performance. Her music spans traditional and contemporary styles, with the same care given to a student’s next step as to a couple’s walk down the aisle.
In lessons, that means patient encouragement and a strong foundation. In performance, it means listening to your ideas and finding the music that makes the moment yours.

Angelina is a gifted violinist with a heart to serve others. Her competence spans a range of genres from traditional to contemporary. She has blessed our church with her playing for years, and it is a privilege to know her.
Angelina played violin at my grandfather’s funeral a few years ago. Even then, she was very prepared and professional in her musicianship. She was flexible in having music ready before the service and during. Her live music added so much to the warmth of the event and was appreciated by all.

I’ve known Angelina as a violinist since her very first year. I have seen her mature beyond her years! Her dedication and passion for music and correct technique is inspiring. She has committed to consistent practice for years and it shows. Now, as an accomplished musician, she is sharing her talent and hard work with others like my young violinists and cellist. She is always quick to give them encouragement and praise as well as offering them something specific and achievable they can work on to improve their skills. Angelina has a calm, creative, and humble demeanor and is always seems happy to share her love of music with others young and old!
Angelina is a most sensitive, gifted and humble artist. She not only plays with other talented youth in the orchestral setting but enjoys volunteering to bringing encouragement and lifting the hearts of people in nursing homes, social occasions and in our church setting. She masterfully adds a unique and tender love of music wherever she plays. Her self discipline and commitment of time to develop her talent is especially challenging to young people and people of all ages. It is always a privilege to hear Angelina speak through the violin strings. I unreservedly give her a 5 star rating!
Angelina is a phenomenal violinist with excellent stage presence and poise. She is not only an excellent musician, but also an excellent musical leader. She is always tuned into any other performers with her on stage communicating during important transitions so the music flows seamlessly. She pairs a rich tone with all the finer subtleties of a very accomplished player.
